Gloria F. Kline, age 80, of Blandon, passed away Friday October 7, 2011 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of Russell L. Kline, Jr. They had been married 37 years.
She was born in Walnuttown, the daughter of the late Leon S. Schmehl and Anna M. (Rauenzahn) Schmehl.

Gloria had worked at the former Lucent Technology, Reading for over 20 years, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood.

Gloria's many interests included knitting lap blankets, slippers and clown dolls which she donated to several organizations. She loved doing needlepoint, puzzles, bird watching and traveling.

Survived by her husband Russell, son Kenneth L. Weidner of Fleetwood and daughter Donna M. (Weidner) Rudy of Fleetwood.

Also grandchildren Kathy L. Weidner of Fleetwood and Denise L. (Rudy) Calcagno of Sinking Spring.

In addition there is a sister Erma E. (Schmehl) widow of Harry Heckman of Blandon and a sister- in -law, Dawn R. Schmehl of Walnuttown.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold L. Schmehl and sister, Marian J. Schmehl.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be Tuesday 10:00 AM to time of service.
