Grace E. Shollenberger

Grace E. (Lenhart) Shollenberger, age 102, of Richmond Township, PA, passed away on February 18th in her home. She was born on June 3, 1923 in Wanamakers, Lehigh County, the daughter of Clarence and Eva (Klingaman) Lenhart.

Grace graduated from Hamburg High School in 1939. She married George Shollenberger in 1942, and they were married for over 70 years.

Grace is survived by three children: Sara Guerrero (Joe), Karen Raudenbush (Dan), Bill Shollenberger (Kathy), daughter-in-law Diana Shollenberger; sisters-in-law Janice Lenhart, Joan Lenhart, and Pat Lenhart; sister by adoption, Peggy Fegely; 8 grandchildren: Lori Bates (Jon), Brian Guerrero (Angela), Amanda Benedict (Kevin), Carly Edwards (Jake), Emily Gum (Wheeler), Kyle Shollenberger (Michelle), Lauren Wittenberg (Ben), and Cori Shollenberger (Akaash). 13 great grandchildren: Tierney Moore (Ryan), Brett Bates, Ellie, Jude, Collette, and Ivy Edwards; Lucy, Eliza, and Gwenyth Benedict; Owen, Claire, Eve, and Guy Wittenberg; Hezze and George Gum; Axel and Cooper Kumar. And her great, great granddaughter Grace Jo Moore. She is also survived and was well-loved by many nieces and nephews.

Grace loved time with family, reading biographies, and doing puzzles . In earlier years, she was a fan of gardening, bridge, golf, square dancing, and winters in Florida. She and George traveled across the US many times and had memorable trips to Japan, Guam, Alaska, Germany, and the UK. She was a life-long member of St. Paul's UCC in Fleetwood and the Fleetwood Grange.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband George, son Alan, daughter-in-law Karen, and seven brothers and sisters, Elmer Lenhart, Edith Bagin, Jim Lenhart, Marie Boyer, Robert Lenhart, Paul Lenhart, and Tom Lenhart.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 20th at St. Paul's UCC, Fleetwood at noon. There will be visitation at the church at 11:00 AM.
