Harvene D. Kopfer, 92, of Pricetown, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. She was born on March 21, 1932, in Kutztown, PA, to the late James and Luma (Wartzenluft) Rahn. She was the wife of the late Charles L. Kopfer who passed on July 27, 2022.

Harvene dedicated her working years to Wenton Shoes and later Deisher Knitting Mill. She had a deep love for nature, especially bird watching at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area, and took great pride in building birdhouses for Blue Birds. Her affection extended deeply to her beloved Dachshunds, who provided her companionship and joy.

Music held a special place in Harvene's life; she particularly enjoyed the melodies of Daniel O'Donnell and country music classics. She looked forward to weekly traditions, including dinner on Saturdays at the Temple Family Restaurant and breakfast at the Kutztown Airport Diner on Sundays. An avid NASCAR fan, Harvene never missed cheering for her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt. She also found happiness in driving her Wheel Horse garden tractor.

Harvene will be remembered by her daughter, Doris (Kopfer) Pfennig and her husband, Tim Pfennig; her son, James Kopfer; and his companion, Bonnie Wilkinson

and grandson John Rissmiller husband of Rosie Rissmiller.

She predeceased by her sister Pauline Rahn and brother Leroy Rahn.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing at 10:00AM on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery, 15177   Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA 19530.
