Harvey S. Noll, Sr., age 69, of Spring City, he was formerly of Fleetwood, passed away on Friday January 30, 2015 in Phoenixville Hospital. He was the husband of Irene D. (Frederick) Noll, who were married on July 3, 1965, they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in July.
Born on September 2, 1945 in Ruscombmanor Township, the son of the late Daniel E. Noll, Sr. and Christiana C. (Schmid) Noll.
He attended Oley High School.
He had worked at the former Garden State Tannery, Fleetwood for thirty years.
Harvey was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church were he had served on the choir and church council. He also had been a member of Salem Shalter's Lutheran Church and St. John's UCC in Pricetown where he served on both councils and choirs. At St. John's he enjoyed portraying the disciple John in the Easter pageant. He loved gospel music. Other interests included flower and vegetable gardening, going to high school basketball games and was an enduring fan of the Phillies and Eagles. He will be sadly missed by his dog Champ.
He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
Harvey is survived by his wife Irene and three children, Harvey S. Noll, Jr. husband of Patricia L. Noll of Sinking Spring, Timothy A. Noll husband of Katherine B. Noll of Lansdale and Lori L. (Noll) Hoshaw wife of Christopher M. Hoshaw, Spring City. Also eight grandchildren, Amanda D. Noll fiancé of Douglas Garipoli, Derek T. Noll, Alyssa F. N oll, Benjamin A. Noll, Christiana F. I. Noll, Dylan T. Noll Emily D. Hoshaw and Daniel C. Hoshaw. Two great grandchildren Olivia Gordon and Marcus Garipoli.
Other survivors include four sisters Patricia A. (Noll) Hertzog, Fleetwood, Pauline H. (Noll) Koller, Fleetwood, Betty J. (Noll) Kauffman, Epharata, Lillian V. (Noll) Harris, Blandon and Joyce E. (Noll) Young, Blandon. Also six brothers Paul H. Noll, Walnuttown, Clarence R. Noll, Fleetwood, Carl K. Noll, Blandon, George F. Noll, Kutztown, Larry J. Noll, Hamburg and Ernest L. Noll, Robesonia.
Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his silbings Esther M. (Noll) Mohn Kauffman, Virginia A. Noll, Shirley M. Noll, Daniel E. Noll, Jr., Lester D. Noll and John W. Noll.
A viewing will be held Saturday February 7th at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood.
