Henry John Haase, 91, of Blandon, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2016. Hank was always a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and New York Giants fan.
He was born on July 16, 1924 in Secaucus, New Jersey to the late John Haase and Meta (Pape) Haase. A first generation American, he served in the United States Navy, stationed in Japan during World War II and in the Naval Reserve during the Korean War. He worked at Keuffel and Esser Company for 43 years as the Director of Eastern Regional Sales and Warehouses, retiring in 1989.
Hank is survived by his wife of 65 years, Grace Ann Haase, of Blandon; his daughter, Lori Therese Haase, of Blandon; his son John Henry Haase (Susan), of Lake Ariel, PA; his granddaughters Allison Florence and Megan Haase Schnader, of Philadelphia, and his sister Joan Katherine Cordes, of Greentown, PA. He is also survived by his furry companion of the last 8 years, Edie Haase, as well as several nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held.
