Jack K. Schaeffer, age 88, formerly of Walnuttown, a resident of Keystone Villa Fleetwood, passed peacefully on Tuesday May 3, 2022 at Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary A. (Bailey) Schaeffer who passed in 2013. Born in Richmond Township, the son of the late John H. Schaeffer and Emma A. (Barrall) Schaeffer.

He was a graduate of Fleetwood High School. Jack was a U S Army Korean War veteran. He had worked Carpenter Technology, Reading for 36 years. Jack loved gardening and maintaining his property. He and Mary enjoyed traveling and always included visiting area steam railroad museums.

Jack was predeceased by his siblings James Schaeffer, Jay Schaeffer, Jean (Schaeffer) Lebo, Julia (Schaeffer) Landis and Joy (Schaeffer) Weidner.,

A viewing for Jack will be Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Mae A Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood.
