James B. Reider, 91, of Ruscombmanor Township, passed away on Tuesday February 6, 2018 in Reading Hospital Medical Center.  He was the husband of Betty J. (Yorgey) Reider, they celebrated 65years of marriage on April 12th.

Born in Oley Township the son of the late Henry R. Reider and Edna E. (Bitting) Reider.

James was a 1944 graduate of Oley Valley High School.

He had worked for the former Boyertown Casket Company for 30 years. In retirement he worked at Boyer's Food Market, Fleetwood for many years.

James was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Pricetown.

His interests were being outside working on his property, playing cards and going to country music shows.

Survived by his wife Betty and granddaughter Kristi M. (McCulley) wife of Jordon Angstadt and great granddaughter Hayley Angstadt.  Other survivors are two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Luann M. (Reider) McCulley, son in law Michael A. McCulley and sister Ellen B. (Reider) Prutzman..

A viewing will be held Saturday at 10:00AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be in Freiden's Cemetery, Oley.
