Jean "GiGi" Criss, 89, of Saylorsburg, PA formerly of Blandon, PA peacefully passed away on November 29, 2016. Born on March 30, 1927, in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late Carl Ippolito and Mary Inga Ippolito.
The second oldest of thirteen children, GiGi was a high school graduate, took part in caring for her siblings, and during the war she worked on an airplane assembly line.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Pat J. Criss, (aka Pasquale Criscuolo) whom she married in 1947, her beloved son Jan Criss, her loving granddaughter Kristy, several brothers and a sister.
GiGi was a fiercley proud mother and grandmother, fun loving, generous and wonderfully spirited. She will be deeply missed by her beloved son Craig and his wife Kelly, her daughter Candace and her husband Kenneth Cocuzzo, and her daughter Lori and her husband T. Brian Powers. She also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Jessica, Casey, Jamie, Tracy and Nicole, and two great grandchildren; Luke and Abigail.
A viewing will be held Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12;00 noon at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Followed by a Prayer Service at noon. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale, PA
