Jean Deysher, 88, of Blandon, passed away on March 8, 2017 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. The wife of the late Luther H. Deysher, who passed in 1987.
Born in Walnuttown on February 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Gertrude (Snyder) Miller. She was predeceased by a son, Scott A. Deysher, sister, Gladys E. Brossman, brother, John S. Miller, half-brother, Robert O Rauenzahn and niece, Mary Ann Brossman..
Jean was a homemaker all her life; she enjoyed sewing and crocheting, cooking and baking PA German foods, bird watching and family gatherings. She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood where she volunteered baking shoo fly pies.
Surviving is a nephew, Mark A. Brossman, wife Janet, Lebanon, PA niece, Diane Brossman Bell, husband, Linn, Harrisburg, PA and Diane's children Rachel Bell and Adam Bell.
Viewing will be Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. In lieu of flowers, contributions can made in Jean's memory to New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
