Jean B. Landis, age 93, of Keystone Villa at Fleetwood, formerly of Fleetwood, passed away on Sunday December16, 2018 in Penn State Health St. Joseph's, Reading. She was the wife of the late Alvin N. Landis, who passed in 2002.

Born in Fleetwood the daughter of the late LeRoy W. Oswald and Nora S. (Boyer) Oswald.

Jean was a 1943 graduate of Fleetwood High School. In 1959 she opened Jean's Beauty Shop on Main Street Fleetwood, retiring after thirty years in 1989. In her retirement she worked at Tarsus Corporation, Fleetwood for many years.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood. A long time member of Blandon Lioness Club and Fleetwood Senior Citizens.

Jean is survived by her sister Shirley M. (Oswald) wife of Alton E. Kehm, Bowers.

Jean was preceded in death by her sister Pauline K. (Oswald) Frederick.

A memorial service will be Thursday morning at 11:00AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be private in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Jean's  memory to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522
