Jean E. McCulley, age 80, of Rockland Township, passed away in her residence on Monday June 11, 2012. Jean was the wife of Wesley J. McCulley they would have been married 61 years on June 23rd.
Born in Rockland Township on September 21, 1931, the daughter of the late Edison A. Fegley and Mabel I. (Angstadt) Fegley.
She was a member of Christ Mertz Lutheran Church in Dryville.
Jean loved her family and being involved in the lives of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her passion was baking and was well known for her theme cakes and come fat Tuesday she would be making fasnacht's by the hundreds giving them to family and friends. Other interests included crocheting and word search.
Surviving is her husband Wesley their five children Linda D. (McCulley) Troop of New Jerusalem, Lynn D. McCulley and his wife Joanne of Fleetwood, Keith W. McCulley, Sr. and his wife Teresa of Reading, Michael A. McCulley and his wife Luann of Walnuttown and Doreen J. (McCulley) wife of John Schweitzer of Fleetwood. Also fifteen grandchildren and twentyone great grandchildren.
She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters: Kenneth R. Fegley, Fleetwood, Lynnwood N. Fegley, Fleewood, Janet F. (Fegley) Hafer of Fleetwood and Joyce D. (Fegley) Grim of Fleetwood.
Jean was preceded in death by a brother Marvin L. Fegley.
Services will be Thursday at 2:30 PM from Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be Thursday from 1:00 PM to time of service.
