Jean J. Reinert, age 92, of Mertztown, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 5, 2017 at the Lutheran Home at Topton.. She was the loving wife of Charles H. Reinert for 74 years.

Jean was born in Pricetown on January 13, 1925, daughter of the late Horman  Foose, Sr. and Andora (Miller) Foose..

Jean was a teacher of arts and crafts for many years in her established business. She koved making things for family members, which often included their special events. Jean's pride were her flowers and gardens and always outside working her yard. Jean aslo enjoyed helping and giving to people in need. She was a true animal lover having many cats and dogs over the years. Jean will be missed by her six feline companions that she loved dearly.

In addition to her husband Charles she is survived by her son Edward Reinert, husband  Lisa (Gray) Reinert, of Mertztown. Also surviving are her two grandchildren, Beth Reichart, wife of Terry of Kutztown and Kurt Reinert, husband of Allison, of Elizabethtown. Other survivors include four great – grandchildren, Kody Reichart, Emma Reichart, Briley Reinert and Quentin Reinert and three step great – grandchildren, Hannah Lukenich, TJ Lukenich, and Emma Lukenich.

Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah, and her three brothers, James, Robert and Horman, Jr.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
