(Stump) Schnabel
May 15, 1947 – October 13, 2018
Jean E. Schnabel, age 71, of Fleetwood, passed away on Saturday October 13, 2018 in her residence surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Ronald L. Schnabel, they celebrated 18 years of marriage on June 19th.
Born in Reading, the daughter of the late Henry W. Stump and Mae Bauer Stump.
Jean was a 1965 graduate of Fleetwood High School. After high school she received BS degree in 1969 from Kutztown University and Master's degree in education from the University of Richmond..
She was a mathematics teacher for 27 years teaching at Huguenot High School Richmond, VA and Reading High School. While in Richmond she also worked as a para legal for ten years.
Jean was a life time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fleetwood. She was a member of the Valanty International Dancers, Reading and I Ballerini Italiani, Reading for ten years.
Jean is survived by her husband Ronald, sister in law Barbara A. Stump widow of Ronald C. Stump of Shoemakersville. step son Ronald L. Schnablel II husband of Melissa Schnabel of Topton, step daughter Candiace L. (Schnabel) wife of Giuseppe Fiore of Fleetwood, step daughter Courtney L. (Schnabel) wife of Christopher Moyer of Fleetwood. Other survivors include grandchildren Zachary Schnabel, Cora Schnabel, Alexia Bender, Francesco Fiore and Giuseppe P. Fiore. Two step grandchildren Lauren Moyer and Keaton Moyer. Nieces Kimberly A. Stump – Sutliff wife of Roy Sutliff, Georgia, Kristen A. (Stump) wife of Dennis Kintzer of Mohnton, Korinne A. Stump - Dalton wife of Joseph Dalton of Shoemakersville and Sandra Spears of Staten Island. Eight grand nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be Saturday morning October 20th from 9:00AMto 11:00 AM followed by funeral services at 11:00AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 117 East Arch Street, Fleetwood. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
