Joann K. Yob, age 81, peacefully passed in her residence on Sunday June 20, 2021. She was the wife of the late Harold A. Yob. Jr. who passed in 2019. Joann was born in Reading, daughter of the late Walter Schaeffer and Stella (Kauffman) Schaeffer.

She had worked for J. C. Gilardone & Son, Virginville as a supervisor retiring after 35 years.

Joann enjoyed playing bingo and going on camping trips.

Survived by her daughter's Hope A. (Yob) Werley, of Mertztown and Patricia A. Yob wife of Amyjo Yob. of Kutztown. She has six grandchildren  Amy, Beth, April, Amanda, Taylor and Joshua. Ten great grandchildren. Also two sister's Elsie Derr of Mohnton and Shirley Stein, of Seattle.

Joann was predeceased by her son William Yob in 1989.

A visitation will be held at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 W. Main Street, Fleetwood on Friday June 25, 2021from 10:00AM to 12:00AM followed by a memorial service at 12:00AM officiated by Rev. John W. Folk.  Inurnment will be private.
