Obituary

John David Boalton, 81, of Fleetwood, PA, passed away on August 14, 2025, at Reading Hospital in West Reading, PA. Born in Pottstown on March 14, 1944, he was the son of the late John Boalton and Hazel L. (Rothermel) Boalton. John proudly served his country in both the United States Marine Corps and the Pennsylvania National Guard. He went on to work for Atochem International Inc. in Birdsboro, PA.  John had a passion for fast cars and enjoyed the thrill they brought. He will be remembered for his service, his love for speed, and the steadfast support he offered to his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn J. (Keeney) Boalton; his brother, Donald Keith Boalton; stepdaughters Kathy (Harrison) Jensen and Kristan (Harrison) Snyder; and step-grandchildren Zachery, Alan, and Jesse. John was predeceased by his parents, his brother Dale E. Boalton; stepsons Steve Harrison and Richard Harrison.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at St. Paul's Church Cemetery, 1312 Old Swede Road, Douglassville, PA 19518.
