John H. Reinert Jr., age 81, of Fleetwood, passed peacefully on Friday March 4, 2022 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. Johnwas the husband of Darlene H. (Smith) Reinert, they celebrated 62 years of marriage in August..  Born in West Reading to the late John H. Reinert, Sr. and Virginia (Schmeck) Reinert.

John worked for the County of Berks at the Court House retiring in 1998. Previously he had worked General Battery. He loved hunting, watching NASCAR and listening to country music. His favorite time was going to Eagle Peak Camp Ground.

John was a member of Spies Lutheran Church, Alsace Township.

He is survived by his wife Darlene children Crickett wife of Dennis Hepner, Alsace Township; Teresa wife of Harold Adam, Macungie; John H. Reinert III, Ruscombmanor Township; Benita widow of Barry Hepner, Reading; Tiffany Reinert, Maidencreek Township; and Darren Reinert husband of Amy Reinert, California. Also grandchildren Darral, Harold, Raymond, Samantha, John IV, Tina, Barry, Jr. Alex, Dakota, Veronica, Rochele, Jacob, Jasmyne, Brian, Becky, Katie, Michael. 18 great grandchildren. Other survivors include siblings Loraine Lash, Michael Benner and many nieces and nephews.

John is predeceased by his grandchildren Jason Reinert, Debbie Hepner, and brother Raymond Hoster,and Patrick Reinert.

A viewing will be held at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home in Fleetwood, on Monday March 21 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM Burial will be private at Maidencreek Cemetery, Blandon
