Josephine S. Rothermel, age 90, passed Monday, June 18, 2018. She was the beloved widow of Richard L. Rothermel. Married in September, 1950. They celebrated 64 years of marriage.

She was a loving mother to Cynthia Edington, Malvern, PA., Kathy Daubenspeck, Oceanside, CA and David Rothermel, Phoenixville, PA. Also surviving are three grandsons, Ian Edington, Steve and Scott Rothermel.

She most recently resided at White Horse Village in Newtown Square, PA.

Josephine was born on December 31, 1927 to Clifford B. and Hettie Ann Stahler in Fleetwood, PA

She was one of  the first Reading School of Nursing to receive a nursing degree from Albright College, Reading, PA. Josephine loved being a nurse.

She was a member of Wayne Presbyterian Church, Wayne, PA for 50 years.

A memorial service and burial in Fleetwood, PA will be a private family celebration of her life.
