Joyce A. Mittl, age 71, of Fleetwood, passed away on Thursday November 14, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. Joyce was the daughter of the late David J. Ressler and Katie (Zimmerman) Ressler.

She had attended Oley Valley High School.

Joyce had worked for Kutztown Manor for 20 years prior to her retirement.

She loved her family and especially talking to her sisters while watching TV shows and discussing with them the events as they happened. She was a fan of Western television shows and movies. Joyce enjoyed going to car shows, to see her favorite car, 57 Chevy's.

Joyce is survived by her children Charlie S. Mittl, Jr. and his companion Sally Weidman of Leesport. Joi L. (Mittl) wife of Paul Shields of Kutztown and Denise A. (Adam) wife of Craig A. Forry of Fleetwood. Also surviving are her grandchildren Stephen S. Mittl, Zachary D. Forry, Carl R. Kressley, Jr., Rory Warsing, Jessica Shields, Jon Shields, Zoey Shields, Marjorie Sheilds and Paul Shields, Jr. Other survivors include four great grandchildren and her two sisters, Harriette (Ressler) Duffy of Virginia Beach, VA and Phyllis (Ressler) Shade of Fleetwood.

Joyce was predeceased by sister Sallie (Ressler) Emerich.

A viewing will be held Wednesday morning November 20th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
