Obituary

June Burgert, age 84, of Fleetwood, went to be with the Lord Tuesday February 24, 2015 in St. Joseph's Medical Center, Bern township. The wife of Ray S. Burgert, they celebrated 65 years of marriage on October 29th.
Born on January 24, 1931 in Walnuttown, daughter of the late Charles P. Keller and Thelma C. V. (Homan) Keller.
A 1949 graduate of Fleetwood High School.
June was a member of Maidencreek Church, Blandon. Where she was very active member, serving 21 years as recording secretary and 30 years as a council member. She also organized the churches ham supper for fourteen years. June was a past president of the Berks County Farm Association.
She and her husband Ray were owners of a farm in Maidencreek Township.
June was a very loving and devoted mother who loved being with her grandchildren. Other interests included flower gardening, quilting, baking and cooking. She looked forward to her trips to the casinos.
June is survived by her husband Ray, daughter Patricia Ann (Burgert) wife of David Glauser of Fleetwood and son Brian J. Burgert husband of Jan (Campbell) Burgert of Fleetwood. Also grandchildren Christopher M. Glauser husband of Karen E. (Stephens) Glauser, Ryan H. Glauser husband of Devin S. (Bruns) Glauser, Douglas W. Burgert husband of Melissa (Knowles) Burgert, Lauren E. (Burgert) wife of Adam Calm and Tyler Burgert.Also six great grandchildren Riley Glauser, Hailey Glauser, Jaden Calm, Mason Burgert, Weston Burgert, Copper Calm.
She was preceded in death by her brother John B. Keller and sister Fern E. (Keller) Ponce.
A viewing will be held Thursday evening 7:00 pm to 8:30pm from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A second viewing will be Friday morning 10:00 am to 11:00am from Maidencreek Church, 261 Main Street, Blandon. Funeral service will be at 11:00am from the church. Burial will be in Maidencreek Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Maidencreek Church; American Heart Association, P. O.
