Kenneth L. Schlottman, age 58, of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, with his soul mate, Terri L. Derr at his side, at Penn State Health St. Joseph's Medical Center, Reading.
Born on July 11, 1957, in Reading, he was the son of the late Harry I. Schlottman and May I. (Moyer) Schlottman. He was graduate of Fleetwood High School.
Kenneth for many years was the owner of Kenny's Wood Finishing Service in Shoemakersville. In his spare time, FISHING was the thing that occupied his time. He had a very laid back attitude and he loved listening to classic rock. Kenny was a Philadelphia sports fan who rarely missed an Eagles or Phillies game.
He is survived by his companion and soul mate, Terri L. Derr, and sisters, Dorothy M. (Schlottman) Reese, of Summit Station, and Mary A. (Schlottman) Ramsey of Shoemakersville. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was very close to Terri's daughter, Alyssa Damiani and her children, Liliana and Cecelia.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his sister, Jean L. (Schlottman) Rohrbach, who passed in 2012.
Terri would like to especially thank Julie Hassler, Karla Spatz, Lori Dentzer, Lisa Gentile, and the nursing staff at Penn State Health St. Joseph's Medical Center, for all the support they gave to Kenny.
