Larry Arthur Kern of Topton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the age of 75. He was a resident of the Lutheran Home at Topton.

Larry was the husband of the late Ruth E. Kern. He was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and was the son of the late Arthur and Helen Kern.

Larry served in the United States Army from October 1967 to October 1973 and was honorably discharged.  He later worked for Service Electric Cable TV for over 33 years and retired on December 31, 2009.  He was a skilled woodworker and had a successful part-time business selling hand-crafted décor after retirement.

Larry is survived by his son, Jonathan Kern, his son, Jeffrey Winder and his daughter, Laurel Kilcheska-Jones. He had one granddaughter, Savanna Hailu and three great-grandchildren, Judah, Hazel, and Margo. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Kern.
