Larry H. Shafer, Sr., age 63, of Boyertown, passed away on Saturday December 12, 2020 in his residence. Larry was born in Philadelphia a son of the late Richard Howlett and Rosemarie (Difiore) Howlett O'Gorman. His foster parents were the late Alvin and Harriet (Stauffer) Shafer. Larry was the husband of Mary L. (Witters) Shafer.

Larry last worked on December 9, 2020 at SciCast International, Inc. in Bechtelsville.

Larry loved caring for his Dodge Charger and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his wife Mary and children  Larry H. Shafer, Jr companion of Chrystal Smith of Boyertown; Holly (Shafer) wife of Ashton Colgan of Boyertown; Travis Shafer companion of Michelle Klinger of Oley; Dwight Shafer of Oley; Bret Shafer companion of Jasmine Bryant of Oley and Shawn Shafer companion of Michelle Winters of Shillington. He also has twelve grandchildren. Other survivors include siblings Bernice Peiler of Morgantown; David Shafer, Daniel Shafer both of Meadville, PA; Martha Beidler, Mt. Pleasant, PA; Diane Brubacher, Canada; Rebecca Roher, Canada; Barbara Showalter, Hondoras and Naomi Brubaker, Canada. Also many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers David Shafer and Daniel Shafer.

A viewing will be Monday December 28 ^th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Funeral services are private with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
