Lee S. Moyer, age 87 formerly of Maidencreek Township passed Wednesday December 27, 2017 in his residence in Myerstown, Lebanon County. He was the husband of Betty J. (Kramer) Moyer. They celebrated their 65 ^th wedding anniversary on February 2 ^nd .

Born in Maidencreek Township on June 6, 1930 he was a son of the late Sylvester S. Moyer and Minnie A. (Christ) Moyer.

Lee served in U S Air Force from 1947 to 1950.

He worked at Carpenter Technology Corporation, Reading for 27 years retiring in 1987.

Lee was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ Molltown, Where he served as a past elder and had been a member of St. Peter's Cemetery board for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife Betty and two sons David L. Moyer husband of Ann Moyer of Woodstock, NY .and Bruce D. Moyer of Shoemakersville. Also four grandchildren Amanda B. Moyer of Houston, Texas, Andrew L. Moyer of Shoemakersville, Dana N. Moyer of New Orleans and Lynne E. (Moyer) Waite of Austin, Texas. There is one great grandson Clayton Moyer.

Lee was preceded in death by his grandson Ryan Moyer in 1982 and siblings Stanley Moyer, Howard Moyer, Edgar Moyer, Helen (Moyer) Davis, Pauline (Moyer) Lorah, Edna (Moyer) Hess and Minnie (Moyer) Schlegel.
