Leon W. Mazurie II of Fleetwood, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Penn State Health, St. Joeseph Medical Center-Bern Township.

JHe was the husband of the late Christine (Levandowski) Mazurie and the late Dixie (Taylor) Mazurie. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Leon W. Mazurie I and the late Joan E. (Schaeffer) Mazurie.

Before retiring, he worked for The Township of Spring serving as Park and Recreation Director, Director of Operations and Township Manager during his tenure.

He was a member of Christ Mertz Lutheran Church.  Leon was a member of the of American Legion Ray A. Master Post 217-Topton, Longswamp Lions Club and Pikeville Sportsmen Club.

He enjoyed Traveling with his wife Christine; to Maine, the shore, hunting, fishing, golfing and trips to the casinos. He loved his dog Shiloh dearly.

He is survived by his sister Debra E. wife of David C. Hoch, nieces Stephanie wife of Michael Bennecoff, Kelly wife of Matthew Schlegel, three great nieces and two great nephews.

Memorial Services: 11:00 AM Wednesday January 8, 2025 at Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, PA 19522. A calling hour will begin at 10:00AM Wednesday in the Church
