Leon G. Young, age 80, of Fleetwood, passed away on Tuesday November 2, 2021 in Reading Hospital.

Born in Ruscombmanor Township, the son of the late Jacob W. Young and Elsie F. (Stitzer) Young.

Leon was a graduate of Oley Valley High School class of 1959.  He worked at the former Quaker Maid Kitchens, Leesport till it closed and retired from Guard Pro Security at Sweet Street Desserts, Reading.

Leon is survived by his longtime companion Hannah A. (Houck) Himmelreich of Fleetwood.  Brothers Howard J. Young, of Temple; Elmer R. Young of Mohnton; Herbert W. Young of Fleetwood and Henry J. Young of Fleetwood. Also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brother William C. Young and sister Jennie E. (Young) Manviller.

Graveside service will be held Thursday November 4 at 1:00 PM in Pricetown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Leon's  memory to St. John's United Church of Christ, 3713 Pricetown Road, Fleetwood PA 19522
