LeRoy C. "Fuzzy" Fies, age 98, formerly of Fleetwood, passed away on Tuesday November 27, 2018 in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

He was the husband of the late Pauline C. (Keller) Fies.

Born in Mohrsville, the son of the late LeRoy J. Fies and Emily (Schaeffer) Fies.

LeRoy was a graduate of Kutztown High School class of 1939.  He was a U. S. Army Private 1 ^st Class  veteran of World War II.

LeRoy had been the manager of Richmaiden Golf Course , Molltown spending 75 years at the course with the Merkel Family the past owners.

He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Fleetwood. LeRoy was a past president of the Blandon Lions Club and a past member of the Fleetwood Lions Club. He also belonged to Rauchtown Rod and Gun Club in Loganton, PA. Clinton County.

LeRoy is survived by his sons Barry L. Fies husband of Sherry Fies, Ocala, Florida; Kenneth C. Fies  husband of Bernetta Fies, Blandon and Gary L. Fies husband of Cathy Fies, Lehighton. Also five grandchildren Shannon, Lydia, Mark, Eric, Christopher and Shawn. There are seven great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood. A funeral service will follow at noon in the church. Burial will be private in St. John's Gernant's Cemetery, Leesport.
