Lynn C. Angstadt, 81, in Fleetwood passed away September 14, 2013 in St. Joseph's Hospital Reading.
He was born in Kutztown on August 21, 1932, Son of the late Mathias and Ida (Reppert) Angstadt.
Lynn was a graduate of Fleetwood High School class of 1950. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War.
He was retired from the Maidencreek Farm Supply in Blandon. In his retirement he enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was best known for his humor and joke telling. He Loved hunting, fishing, going to the casinos and meeting up with friends at the mall for coffee and conversations. He especially loved Phillies baseball and Eagles and Penn State Football.
Lynn is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn (Kocher) Angstadt, age 84; sons Daniel of Birdsboro, Lynn of Blandon, Eric of Reading; daughters Barbra Huff of Fleetwood and Diane Lentz of Allentown. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tina Kreitz, Nicole Manhon, Erica Angstadt, Lisa Colon, Jackie Amiah, Shelly Huff, Andrew Huff, Kristen Spameni and Stacy Davis; Along with his great grandchildren, Peyton and Mathew Kreitz, Lia Spameni, Logan White, Adam and Austin Ament, Sophia Ava, and Aaron Colon, and Janiah and Joshua Amiah. He is also survived by two sisters, Anna Lare and Claudia Dunkleberger.
A viewing will be held Thursday morning from 9:30AM to 11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 W. Main St Fleetwood. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown.
Lynn was a member of the New Jerusalem UCC. In lieu of flowers memorial Contributions may be made to the New Jerusalem UCC, 33 Lyons Rd. Fleetwood PA 19522. .
