Margaret S. (Steward) Lindenmuth, 89 of Richmond Township, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was the widow of Robert H. Lindenmuth, Sr. who died August 31, 1988.
Born January 17, 1926, in Catasauqua, PA., she was the last surviving sibling born to Lee A. and Dorothy M. (Wehr) Steward.
Margaret was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Molltown.
She retired from the former Cinderella Knitting Mills, Leespoprt, PA.
Her senior years were occupied by quilting, crocheting and needlework.
Surviving are a daughter Linda L. (Lindenmuth), wife of Merrill Schaeffer and son Robert H. Lindenmuth, Jr. and wife Darlene of Richmond Township.
Also surviving are grandchildren Diane Anderson, Julie Bolton, Merrill Schaeffer and Steven Schaeffer. There are seven great-grandchildren: Stephanie, Zachery, Philip, Emily, Matthew, Andrew, Kristen and one great great – granddaughter Paisleigh.
She was predeceased by sister Arlene (Steward) Shade and brothers William, Robert, Russell and Gerald.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown
