Marcia E. (Lavertue) Doerrman Picinich, age 82, of Fleetwood, passed peacefully on Wednesday June 8, 2022 at the Reading Hospital, West Reading. She was the wife of the late Robert S. Pininich who passed in  2017. Born in Laconia, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late James Kitching and Martha Elizabeth (Wheeler) Lavertue.

A graduate of Spaulding High School, Rochester, NH. Married Richard R. Doerrman and moved to Reading, PA. While pregnant with her 5 ^th child she went to nursing school at Reading Area VoTech, graduating first in her class. Her entire nursing career of 35 years was with the Reading Hospital Surgical working as an operating room technician. She was chosen to be part of the first open heat surgical teams.

Marcia was an avid New York Yankee fan and a lover of all things swimming and the swimming community.

She is survived by her children Cathy Doerrman wife of Edward F. Sheets, Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio; Sherry (Doerrman) wife of Brian S. Gooch of Columbus, Ohio; Grant Doerrman husband of Heidi (Ketner) Doerrman of Kutztown and Patrick Doerrman husband of Amy (Lishman) Doerrman of Fleetwood.

She has nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and two on the way.

Also bonus children Gail (Picinich) wife of Scott Anderson two bonus grandchildren and one bonous great grandchild of New Oxford, PA. and John Picinich of Mesa, AR.  And a half-sister in law Alana Kitching.

Marcia was predeceased by a daughter Michelle E. Doerrman in 1977 half-brothers Gary Kitching in 1992 and Brian F. Kitching in 2017

Other survivors are a half-brother Henry J. Lavertue husband of Evangelline Lavertue of Fleming Island, FL. and half-sister Sharon (Lavertue) wife of William Miller of Meredith, NH.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
