Mark Drey, 63, of Wernersville, PA, passed away on December 19, 2024. Born in Berks County on October 8, 1961, Mark's life was shaped by his love of music, his unwavering commitment to his loved ones and friends, and his military service, which defined his life.

Mark attended Fleetwood High School and was a member of the Class of 1979. His passion for music began early, and he was a talented musician during his school years. In 1979, he enlisted in the Marines and was selected to be the lead trumpet player for the Marine Corps Band. He was stationed on the West Coast for the duration of his military enlistment.

For over 30 years, Mark was a dedicated and active member of Teamsters Local 429. He was currently working at Robesonia Logistics, where he also served as the head shop steward.

Mark was tirelessly dedicated to his occupation and to his family. He took pride in his friends and loved ones, often being a steadfast rock for those around him. A fan of the occasional espresso martini and jazz music, he enjoyed dinners out and traveling with his wife, Barbara.

He took pride in everything he did – from his cars to his lawn. He never went a day without a cup, or twelve, of coffee. He was a beloved Pop-Pop to his granddaughter, Presley, and was notorious for giving her extra scoops of ice cream.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Gloria (Miller) Drey; his sister, Denise Beiler; and his brother, Steven Buehrer. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara A. Drey, of Wernersville, PA; his children, Joshua Drey, Heather Schreiner (Chris Chestnut), Molly Schreiner (Jon Cohl), and Taylor Schreiner; his cherished granddaughter, Presley Jane Chestnut; and his brother, Matt Drey.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mark's life during a visitation on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM at Mae A.
