Mary Jane (Alexander) Boeshore was born July 14, 1935 in Royersford to her parents, father Sebastiano D'Allesandro Alexander and mother Edith Longhi. Mary graduated from Royersford High School in 1953 and played field hockey and basketball in high school. Mary had three children, Debra L. DeLong, A. Scott DeLong, and David C. DeLong with her first husband Arthur J DeLong. Mary married LTC David A Boeshore on June 20, 1970 and lived in Sciota, PA until 1987. In 1987, David and Mary moved to Myrtle Beach, SC and lived there until 1997. In 1997 David and Mary returned to Pennsylvania, living in Fleetwood for the remainder of their lives. Mary enjoyed their dog Daisy while living in Stroudsburg, liked to bake Pizzelles for family gatherings and being a member of the Lutheran Church in Fleetwood, PA.
Mary had 4 siblings, Joseph, Carmella and Rose (predeciest) and Lou Alexander from Pottstown. Mary has two grand children, Dr. Carrie Breyer, daughter of Debra DeLong, and wife of Lucas Gordilis Darrin DeLong, son of Scott DeLong
Mary has four great grand children, Gabriel Comargo and Allesandra Gordilis, son and daughter of Dr. Carrie Breyer and Penelope and Austin DeLong, daughter and son of Darrin DeLong.
A viewing will be on Saturday November 25th from 10:00AM to 11:00AM followed by a funeral service at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
