Mary Ann Boone, age 81, of Fleetwood, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 18, 2018, in the Berks County Home.

She was the wife of David L. Boone, they celebrate 59 years of marriage on September 6, 2017.

Born in Richmond Township, the daughter of the late Luther Kniss and B. Manilla (Stahler) Kniss.

Mary was a graduate of Fleetwood High School and attended Reading Area Community College. She was also a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ where she served as a past deacon and consistory member.

Prior to her retirement she had worked at Planned Parthood, Reading and the former Fleetwood businesses Jay-El Corporation, Fleetwood Sportswear.

Mary loved reading, playing the piano and playing computer games.

Survived by her husband David and sons Barry L. Boone of Reading and Randy L. Boone of Kunkletown, PA Also grandchildren Brett Boone, Wernersville, Heather Boone, Reading, Lauren Boone Wernersville, Corey Boone Wernersville and Cherrish Cunningham, Rapid City, SD.

Mary was preceded in death by her silblings Eleanor Kramer, Ernest Kniss and Erma Sholedice.

A viewing will be Monday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am

followed by a funeral service at 11:00am from the Mae A.
