Obituary

Mary Jane Himmelberger, age 79, of Blandon, passed peacefully on Thursday July 7, 2022, in her residence. She was the wife of Ronald K. Himmelberger. They celebrated 62 years of marriage in April. She was born in Kutztown, the daughter of the late Harvey Reidenhour and Helen (Meitzler) Reidenhour.

She was a member of Spring Valley Church of God, Temple.

Mary Jane loved taking care of her family and pets. She lived and worked on a horse farm for

23 years. For a number of years she worked at the ShurFine Market in Temple and last worked at Cabela's in Hamburg. She loved flowers and enjoyed floral gardening.

She is survived by her husband Ronald and three children: Karen A. (Himmelberger) wife of John Motley of Port Carbon; Dallas R. Himmelberger of Temple, and Jason G. Himmelberger of Blandon, also granddaughter Jamie L. (Himmelberger) Speck and one great grandchild Cameron J. Speck.

Mary Jane was predeceased by her grandson Hunter G. Motley and four siblings; Betty (Reidenhour) Swan, Leroy Reidenhour, Harvey Reidenhour and Paul Reidenhour.

A viewing will be at 1:00 PM Thursday followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM from Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street,, Fleetwood. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
