Mary E. (Gebhard) Miller, age 85 of Rockland Township passed away Monday evening
March 3, 2014 in Lehigh Valley Hospice Center, Allentown. She was the
wife of the late Raymond W. Miller Sr. who passed on March 1, 2010.
Born December 10, 1928 in Douglas Township, daughter of the late Wilson Gebhard and Lizzie (Weller) Kreiser. Mary had worked for many years at the former Kutztown Shoe Factory, Kutztown.She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, New Jerusalem. Her interest were reading the Bible, sewing, cooking playing cards and solving crossword puzzles. She especially loved being surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by: her sons Raymond W. Miller, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Reading; David E. Miller, Sr. and his wife Kathy of Mertztown. Daughters Carolyn E. (Miller) Dise and her husband David of Barto; Alverta V. (Miller) Moyer and her companion Larry Koch, Lyons and Jolene M. (Miller) Duszak and her husband Ron of Camp Hill. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday March 8, 2014 at 2:00PM from New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, New Jerusalem. A viewing will be 1:00PM to time of service.
