Mary A. Schaeffer, age 82, of Walnuttown, passed away March 27, 2013 at Kutztown Manor. She was the wife of Jack K. Schaeffer, they celebrated 55 years of marriage in January.
Born on April 20, 1930 in Topton, she was daughter of the late Charles G. Bailey and Mary A. (Adams) Bailey.
Mary had worked at the former Fleetwood Shirt Corporation in Fleetwood for 20 years retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Zion Union Church Maxatawny.
Her interests were playing bingo and going on bus trips to casino's.
Mary is survived by husband Jack and four step children Rev. Victor Peischi, Allison Park, PA; Annette (Peischi) Winterhalt, Emmaus, PA; Richard Peischi, California and Thomas Peischi, California.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 2:00PM at St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Building Fund for Zion Union Church, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, PA 19530
