Mary Ann Seidel, 81, of Reading, PA, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, at her home on Pheasant Run.

Born on April 21, 1944, in Maxatawny Township, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Lesher) Henderson. A graduate of Empire Beauty School, Mary Ann operated a salon from her parents' home on Franklin Street in Fleetwood. She later worked for 28 years at Boscov's East, where she was a familiar face in the toy and jewelry departments.

Mary Ann enjoyed gardening, watching birds at her feeder, traveling, and spending time at the beach, especially in Ocean City and Atlantic City. Above all, she loved caring for her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She also had a special place in her heart for her dog, Parker.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Seidel. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard E. Seidel; her daughters Traci Galen, Lisa Gehman (wife of Scott Gehman), and Tiffany Seidel; her grandchildren Christian Galen, Zoë Gehman, Alec Gehman, and Connor Gehman; and her brother James Henderson and his wife, Gail.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA, from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood, PA.
