Michael S. "Baby Doo" Noll, age 59, of Camp Hill formerly of Reading, passed away on July 18, 2017 in Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born on November 30, 1957 in Somers Point, New Jersey, he was the son of Theodore S. Noll Jr. of Reading and the late Gloria Jean (Slider) Noll.
Michael was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School class of 1975. After high school he enlisted in the U S Navy, where he served for six years. In 1981 he started at Reading Area Community College and graduated from Kutztown University with a B S degree in computer science. He was hired by EDS and AXA, and the State Retirement System, last working on July 14 th as an Information Technology Developer.
He loved sports and was the founder of EBFL Fantasy Football League. For the last 22 years his team name was "The Cereal Killers." His favorite sports team was the San Diego Chargers and he was also a member of the Scared Splitless Bowling Team at Trindle Bowl, Camp Hill.
Michael was a drummer most of his life, he loved the blues, but also played a variety of musical styles over the years from Rock to Metal to "wedding singer" standards and most things in between. He was a drummer in several bands including "Nate Myers and the Aces", "Jason Ricci and New Blood", " Jon Pyle", " Voodoo Love Hounds" and "Wild Horse" to name a few. He performed in the opening act for several artists, which included "Kenny Wayne Shepherd" and "Kansas."
He is also survived by his sister Michele L. Noll of Wyomissing, PA and two nieces Kayleigh A. Noll of Reinholds, PA and Amanda L. Noll of Wyomissing, whom he adored. A visitation with family and friends will be held Saturday 29 th of July from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon followed by a memorial service at noon. From the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Due to road construction on Main Street in Fleetwood follow detour signs to Washington Street where directions will be posted. Contributions can be made in Michael's memory to either the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
