Michael D. Raco, Fleetwood, PA, passed away peacefully on the 5th of November, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born on October 2, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY, Mike was the devoted husband of Dawn M. Raco (nee Miller), Fleetwood, PA, and the beloved son of Dominic A. Raco and the late Eleanor R. Raco (nee Medici), NY.
Mike spent over 30 years employed in the Chemicals, Inks and Dyes Industry, last working for Siegwerk EIC, LLC until September 2015.
Mike's motto was "Family is everything" and he lived that way! Mike loved spending time with his family and friends, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed going to shoot targets at the shooting range. He looked forward to summers spent at LBI with sunsets at his favorite lighthouse. He was the type of man who would help anyone, had a huge heart and loved to have fun. He cherished his family and always made time for them. Whether it was sitting by the lighthouse talking, bringing a paper bag filled with Swedish fish to share a few special moments, making "zombie faces", running around the house when the Giants won the Super Bowl while yelling so loud that it scared mom (Dawn), silly dancing, sharing secrets (or NOT!), teasing each other, playing in the snow with his grandson (even rolling down the huge mound at 53!), or even just playing video games together. Mike was the epitome of love.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are: his daughter, Jacquelene Linn and her husband Bruce; step-son, Vincent A. Miller and his wife Nichole; step-daughter, Samantha M. Miller and her fiancé Timothy J. Koller; sister, Marie Adams and her husband Matthew; granddaughter, Olivia N. Linn; and grandson, Aiden A. M. Clemens. Mike was a Godfather and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
