Mildred J. "Millie" Koller, of Fleetwood, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in The Reading Hospital Medical Center. She was the wife of the late W. Kenneth Koller, who passed in 2001. She was born on April 1, 1937 in Shartlesville, the daughter of the late Arthur S. Kauffman and Edna M. (Machmer) Kauffman.
Millie was a 1955 graduate of Hamburg High School. With her husband Kenneth they owned and operated The Grand Central Taproom in Fleetwood from 1976 to 2001. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church in Fleetwood where she was a very active member serving as a choir member for many years, was on the kitchen committee and when needed played the piano. She was a past secretary of Fleetwood Senior Citizens. Millie was known for her pure joy of life and a comforting smile.
Survived by her children, J. Peter Koller husband of Sharon (Wanner) Koller of Fleetwood, Todd D. Koller husband of Kathleen (Miccicke) Koller of Lehighton and Shelly Rae (Koller) wife of John D. Torres, Fleetwood. Also grandchildren, Eileen (Koller) wife of Zachary Gilmore, W. David Koller, Timothy Koller, Matthew Ehrig husband of Erica Ehrig, Lisa (Ehrig) wife of Eric Minsavage, Johnathan Ehrig husband of Vanessa Ehrig. Eight great grandchildren Lilah Gilmore, Jack Gilmore, Charlotte Gilmore, Nicholas Neibert, Tyler Neibert, Lyla Minsavage, Abigail Ehrig, Brennan Ehrig.
Millie has a brother Merrill Kauffman of Myerstown.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Clifford Kauffman, Kenneth Kauffman, Virginia Simon and Ruth Geisinger.
A viewing will be Sunday 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood and Monday 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM in the church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. Memorial contributions can be made in Millie's memory to either St. Paul's United Church of Christ or the Alzheimer's Association.
