Mildred Anne Schaeffer Lake, age 89, of Topton, passed away on Thursday morning October 11, 2018 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Daniel W. Schaeffer who passed in 1965 and the late Robert S. Lake who passed in 2014.

Born in Dryville, she was the daughter of the Walter A. Scheidt and Eva I. (Mertz) Scheidt.

Mildred had worked for Sears in Kuztown from 1966 to 1993. She was a member of

Christ Mertz Lutheran Church in Dryville. She found great joy and love being with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters Patricia A. (Schaeffer) Rohrbach wife of Warren Rohrbach Jr. of Fleetwood and Debra E.( Schaeffer) Adam wife of Richard Adam of Denver, PA. She also had four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mildred was preceded in death by her six sibling's Mabel (Scheidt) Boyer, Schirla (Scheidt) Silsdorf, Roma (Scheidt) Houptley, Wayne Scheidt, Paul Scheidt and Elmer Scheidt.

A visitation with friends and family will be Saturday October 13 ^th from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM followed by a memorial service from Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood.
