Nancy B. Gieringer, age 84, of Rockland Township, passed peacefully on Tuesday August 31, 2021 at her residence. She was the widow of Edward C. Gieringer  who passed on October 7, 20005.

Nancy was born in Reading, and was the daughter of the late William H. Bower and Edith m. (Sterner) Bower.

Her passion was gardening which included mowing the lawn growing flowers. Nancy loved caring for her many cats.  She rarely missed a golf match when Tiger Woods would be playing. Nancy made it a priority to spending time with family.

Surviving are her children Kurt D. Gieringer husband of Karen (Bossler) Gieringer of Blandon and Kevin E. Gieringer husband of Debbie L. (Bossler) Gieringer of Fleetwood. Also surviving are her grandchildren Greg E. Gieringer and Jason K. Gieringer.

Nancy was predeceased by her siblings  Virgina, William, Daniel and Charlotte.

A viewing will be Tuesday September 7th from 10:00AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in memory of Nancy to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801North 11 ^h Street, Reading, PA 19604.
