Nancy Ann Lemmerhart

 Nancy A. Lemmerhart, 93, formally of Reading and Mt. Gretna, passed away peacefully at Berks Heim where she resided for the past five years. Born in April 21, 1932, in Hazelton PA.

 She was the daughter of the late Robert c. Lemmerhart and Emma S. (Schurchart) Lemmerhart. She was preceded in death by her sister Jane Delcamp. She was a graduate of Reading High School.

 Nancy's passion for adventure and variety manifested a full and distinctive career path. Her exposure to theater and the arts through the PA Chautauqua Society in Mt Gretna led her to the study of performance and painting. She was involved in theatrical productions at various venues in PA in her early adulthood.

 She created her own travel business and later worked for Boscov's Travel. Her globetrotting adventures were extensive.

 Aviation was always a fascination for Nancy. She had worked towards acquisition of a pilot's license. She did Public Relations work and volunteered her time to The Mid Atlantic Air for many years.

 Nancy conducted Public Relations work with BCTV and Berks County Office of Aging. There, she created her most fulfilling enterprise, the founding and directing of the Senior Festival for the Arts, showcasing the talent of the many artistic seniors throughout Berks County. Nancy's unwavering determination and inventiveness were evident within every show. Her distinctive panache will be greatly missed.

 Graveside services will be held at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery, Hazelton with services provided by the Hazelton Salvation Army In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro PA 19508.
