Nancy J. Miller, age 83, of Fleetwood, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in the Reading Hospital Medical Center. The wife of Donald R. Miller, they celebrated 63 years of marriage on June 28th.
Born on February 17, 1933, in Fleetwood the daughter of the late Charles F. Knoll and Kathryn (Bower) Knoll.
Nancy was a graduate of Fleetwood High School. After high school she attended McCann Business school in Reading. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fleetwood and the Order of Eastern Star East Penn Chapter #366, Kutztown..
Nancy had many interests she was an avid bowler and played many tournaments at Laurel Lanes in Reading. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos. Hosting card parties and in her youth playing tennis. Her family and friends remember that she was a wonderful baker.
Nancy was the first person from Fleetwood to be on the TV show The Price is Right, where she was the show case winner..
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lisa Anne Miller of Reading and her son Donald C. Miller of New York City.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles J. Knoll and J. William Knoll.
A family visitation will be held 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday February 18, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 117 E. Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. David R. Strobel officiating.
