Neil L. Hohl, 88, of Rockland Township, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, in Penn State Health St. Joseph's, Bern Township, Pennsylvania.

Neil was born November 21, 1936, in Kutztown to the late Clarence Hohl and Mamie (Wartzenluft) Hohl. A devoted husband to Joyce B. (Heist) Hohl, they shared 67 joyful years together, celebrating their most recent anniversary last August.

A 1954, graduate of Kutztown High School and McCann's Business School in Reading.  In 1955 he joined the U. S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1959. Neil built a career as a credit manager with The Mercury newspaper in Pottstown.

Neil was a member of Christ Mertz Lutheran Church in Dryville where he had served as a past deacon for seven years and volunteered his service in many other ways. In the past he had horses, enjoyed taking them to horse shows. He was an expert roller skater. Other interests were gardening, golfing and watching golf tournaments. He was a long time member of the Kutztown Cougar Tails. Pa especially enjoyed being with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Neil is survived by his children Leatha (Hohl) Babilon wife of Robert Babilon of Boyertown and Keith Hohl husband of Maria Hohl of Blandon; grandchildren Brian Babilon husband of Kaitie Babilon, Lyndsey (Babilon) wife of Travis Kirchner, Sarah Hohl and Rebecca Hohl; great grandchildren Tyler Kirchner, Reese Kirchner, David Babilon and Jacob Babilon. The family also wants to give special thanks to Dr. Rovito and his wonderful staff for their care, love, and support during Neil's treatment time.

A visitation with family will be from 10:00AM to 11:00AM Thursday June 19th at Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM.  Inurnment will be in Hope Cemetery.
