IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nikolas A.
Dalida-Hilbert
December 8, 1998 – April 29, 2024
Nikolas Anthony Dalida-Hilbert, age 25, finally found peace on April 29th in Lake Ontelaunee. Nik was born December 8th 1998 to Victoria Lazowicki and Gregory Hilbert in Phoenixville, PA. Nik graduated Blue Mountain High School in 2016, a year early, but spent most of his schooling at Oley Valley. He was in the gifted program and had a specific knack for math and physics, attending Juniata College for a semester with a major in both. He was top of his class as a 2nd year apprentice in the IBEW 743, where he enjoyed helping his fellow students.
Nik was loved by everyone, regardless of how long they knew him for. He was soft spoken, easy going, down for adventures and shenanigans of all kinds, and always willing to help a friend in need. He was fond of cats and nature more than anything, and found joy in hiking, camping, riding dirtbikes and four wheelers, keeping a fire going, and making sure everyone had a great time. He was a total goofball, able to light up a room with a quick joke or meme or witty comment, but more than that he enjoyed engaging others in conversations about philosophy, meaning, and politics. He was fiercely brilliant and logical; he liked to say that he had chronic "graph brain," and was always trying to turn worldly concepts into formulas and charts for his own amusement. Nik also loved playing games like Super Smash Bros for hours on end with friends, Monster Hunter, Minecraft, Elden Ring, and many others.
He is survived by his parents and his brother Joshua Hilbert, his two cats Gloom and Salem, along with many many loving friends. In addition, his maternal grandparents John A. and Kristine (Poust) Lazowicki of Inverness, FL and paternal grandparents Ernest and Barbara (Greiss) Hilbert of Bechtelsville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 11th at New Bethel Church, 135 New Bethel Church Road, Kempton, PA with visitation with family at 11am. The service will begin at 12pm, followed by burial.
