Norman G. "Bud' Lamon, age 83, of Fleetwood passed away Tuesday November 17, 2015 in Manor Care Health Services Allentown. He was the husband of Arlene V. Stacey, on November 23rd they would have celebrated 33 years of marriage. Bud's first wife June H. (Haines) Lamon passed in August of 2010.
He was the son of the late Thomas Lamon and Viola (Reed) Lamon, born on September 18, 1932 in Bristol, PA. After high school to joined the U S Army and served during the Korean War.
After the service Bud worked as a painter and later started his own company, Bud Lamon Painting, he truly loved painting and retired at the young age of 78.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene, five children Greg Lamon husband of Beverly Lamon of Eagleville, Linda (Lamon) Kriebel of Sanatoga, Denise (Lamon) Kriebel of Zionsville, Brenda (Lamon) wife of Michael Conway of Zionsville and Duane Lamon husband of Lisa Lamon of Slatington. Also nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Other survivors include his sisters Wanda (Lamon) Walker of Carmichael, CA, Frona (Lamon) wife of Phillip Larson of Ewing, NJ and Mary (Lamon) widow of John Jones of NC.
He was preceded in death by a sister Betty (Lamon) Rayster, grandson Terry Kriebel and a great granddaughter Lilly Fountain.
Funeral services will be Saturday November 21st at 9:30 from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA.
