Norman Eberly Jr., age 84, of Rockland Township, passed away on Sunday September 17, 2017.  in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Betty I. (Brownell)  Eberly who passed on July 12, 2006.

Born on October 6, 1932 in Shillington, the son of the late Norman Eberly Sr. and Myriel T. (Tripp) Eberly.

Norman was a 1950 graduate of Kutztown High School. After high school he joined the U S Marine Corps and served in Korea.

He had worked as a lineman for PP&L in the Kutztown Borough for 36 years retiring January 1995.

Norman  is survived by his three sons Norman Eberly III, Tripp Eberly and David Eberly. Also 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson. Other survivors are 12 step children. Norman considered Linda Dengler his daughter and her son Tyler Dengler his grandson.

He was preceded in death by a sister Anna Ruth (Eberly) Stein and one grandchild.

A graveside service will be held Friday September 22nd at 1:00PM in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
