Paul W. Barlet 79, Perry Township, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Jan. 26, 2022.  Paul was born February 7 1942, in Ruscombmanor Township to the late John P. R. Barlet. and Minerva (Schittler) Barlet. He was the husband of Irene Mae (Gaston) Barlet,  they celebrated 58 years of marriage..

Paul had worked for the former Fleetwood Craftmen Incorporated for 30 years and Garden State Tanning Co.Fleetwood for 11 years. He was a very hard worker, many times having two jobs at the same time. His love of the outdoors included camping and hunting. He was a long time member of the Lions Club and was a member of the Universal O – Heroes Club of Miller -Keystone Blood Center, where he donated gallons of blood over his lifetime. In his retirement years, he enjoyed making candy and baking pies, which he sold at the Leesport Farmers Market.

He is survived by his wife Irene and children Paula J. (Barlet) wife of Jeffery Townsley of Chambersburg, PA,  Paul W. Barlet Jr. of Columbia, PA, Tammy I. Barlet of Maryland, Barbara A. Barlet of New Jersey. Grandchildren Jacob, Christopher, Megan, Paul III, Alysha, Christian, Hannah and Gianni.

Other survivor's include siblings John P. R. Barlet. husband of Dorothy, Earl S. Barlet husband of Bonnie, Jerry L. Barlet husband of Irene, Raymond H. Barlet husband of Tracy, Barbara (Barlet) Burkert widow of Marvin and sister in law Beatrice Barlet widow of Lester Barlet..

Paul is predeceased by his brothers Lester W. Barlet and Gary L. Barlet

A viewing will be held at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home in Fleetwood, on Thursday February 3, 2022 from 9:30AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery, Dryville.
