Richard H. Eisenhower, 87 of Fleetwood, passed away in Reading Hospital Tower Health on Friday, December 21, 2018. He was the loving husband of Kathleen F. (Peiffer) Eisenhower, they celebrated 67 years of marriage on September 1 ^st .

Born in Lebanon, PA he was the son of the late Raymond F. Eisenhower and Catherine (Schaeffer) Eisenhower. Richard was a graduate of Lebanon High School class of 1949.

A U S Army veteran of the Korean War,

Richard taught cabinet making at Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center from the time the center opened in 1968 till his retirement in 1989.  He loved golfing and bowling, In his retirement he enjoyed playing bingo at Fleetwood ENCORE. He was a faithful fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Richard is survived by his wife, Kathleen; son Jess N. Eisenhower companion of Judith Scianna of Fleetwood; daughter Jennifer K. Eisenhower partner Cynthia Dunlap of Palmyra and son Joel R. Eisenhower companion of Christine Border, Kutztown. Other survivors are grand children Shannon Eisenhower, Vanessa (Eisenhower) Dreibelbis and three great grandchildren Logan Dreibelbis, Austin Dreibelbis and Hunter Albrecht.

Also surviving is a sister Marylyn (Eisenhower) Mease of Lebanon.

Richard was predeceased by son Lynn R. Eisenhower and brother Norman Eisenhower.

A viewing will be on Monday December 31 ^st from 9:30AM to11:00 AM followed by a funeral service on Monday December 31st at 11:00 A.M. from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Officiating will be Rev. Errin Mulbery. Burial will be Monday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
