Robert S. Lake, 85, of Topton, passed away on August 5, 2014 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the loving husband of Mildred A. (Scheidt) Lake.
Born on May 4, 1929, in Woodbury, New Jersey. He was the son of the late Alfred Lake Sr. and Frances (Winston) Lake.
Prior to his retirement Robert had worked for East Penn Manufacturing in Lyon Station for many years.
Survived by his wife Mildred and step daughters Patricia A. (Schaeffer) wife of Warren Rohrbach, Jr. of Fleetwood and Debra E. (Schaeffer) wife of Richard Adam of Denver, PA. Also four grandchildren and five great grandchildren..
Other survivors include a brother Alfred Lake Jr. husband of Else Lake of Freehold, New Jersey. Also surviving is nephew Dean Nester of Temple and niece Cheryl Angstadt of Wind Gap.
Robert was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy (Lake) Nestor and her late husband Karl Nestor.
A viewing will be held Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 2:00PM from Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM in the church. Burial will follow services in Hope Cemetery. Contributions can be made to College Fund at Christ Mertz Lutheran Church
